Operated by People USA, the Crisis Support Center offers:

24/7 crisis intervention

Mental health crisis assessment

Substance use crisis support

Peer support from individuals with lived experience

Safety planning

Short-term stabilization

Referrals to outpatient treatment, housing, social services, and other community resources

Support for people experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, or other behavioral health challenges

100% voluntary

Walk-ins welcome

Guests of all ages are welcome

When Should Someone Go There?

Examples include:

Feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope

Experiencing severe anxiety or panic

Having thoughts of self-harm

Experiencing worsening depression

Facing a mental health or substance use crisis

Needing immediate emotional support but not necessarily emergency medical treatment

How Is It Different From an Emergency Room? This is a Crisis Support Center: behavioral health-focused, peer-based, and recovery-oriented; a less restrictive environment, and provides stabilization and linkage to services

The Crisis Support Center helps people get support quickly without automatically requiring hospitalization. Its goal is to stabilize a crisis, keep people safe, and connect them to longer-term services if needed.

Individuals can walk in any time for behavioral health crisis support
