WMCHealth Mental and Behavioral Health (Westchester Medical Center)

The Behavioral Health Center at WMC offers services to a full spectrum of conditions including but not limited to:

- Acute psychiatric distress and conditions

- Substance misuse

- Feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress

- Difficulty to coping with medical illness

Along with:

- Outpatient clinics

- Inpatient programs for behavioral, mental, and/or substance misuse

- Emergency department screenings

Our inpatient services have implemented an integrated treatment program which encourages recovery of both substance misuse and mental illness through:

- Daily educational and therapeutic group activities

- Individual and group therapy sessions

- 12-step and release prevention

- Orientation and family involvement

Adult and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP and APHP)
