The Ulster County Department of Social Services, District Attorney, New York State Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s Department and Kingston Police collaborate in the Family Violence Unit to investigate reports of child abuse, domestic violence and assaults on the elderly. Services include Child Protective Services, the Family & Child Advocacy Center, assessment and intake, preventive services and foster care.
