Children’s Way Counseling Center - Children’s Mental Health Clinic

Children’s Way Counseling Center performs early assessment and identification of childhood emotional disturbances and engages the youth and family in ongoing psychotherapy. This includes developing a treatment plan designed to minimize symptoms and adverse effects of illness and prevent their progression; maximize wellness; assist the youth in developing a resilient and hopeful approach to school, family, and community; and maintain the youth in their natural environment.

The Clinic provides the following services:

Initial mental health assessments

Psychiatric evaluations

Crisis intervention

Medication management and psychotropic medication treatment

Individual therapy

Family therapy

Group therapy

Complex care management

Coordination with schools and community providers

Referrals to additional community-based services when needed
